We are now recruiting for the role of Security Team Member for ClinkNOORD Hostel, Amsterdam. Your focus will be the security of the hostel, guests and team to ensure everyone is having a good time in a safe and welcoming environment. This is a full time role reporting into the Security Team Leader and Front of House Manager, and is a predominantly overnight shift role which would suit someone who prefers to work nights. Our security team are essential for creating a great guest experience and you will have the power to create lasting positive memories for our guests.

What's the Job?
We know security is a tough but it's also a very essential role for our hostels. It’s important to remember that the priority is to always put our guests first even in difficult situations. During the night, you are the hostels welcoming committee for those guests who are checking in late and also those who are coming back from discovering the city.
Some of your responsibilities will be:
- Being a visible presence in the hostel, monitor the main reception area as well as checking on our other outlets such as the social spaces, bar, hallways etc.
- Support reception with check-in's, guest queries, serving in the café and any other guest requests.
- Conduct regular floor walks to ensure our guests are safe and noise levels are kept at a minimum. Check the outside areas also and ensure that you are safe by using your radio
- Be that person everyone wants to work with; have fun along the way but strive to complete all your shift tasks and limit what you hand over to the next shift
