Scada Engineer, The Netherlands
I'm currently looking for a highly experienced Scada Engineer to join our client's team. We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Engineer with expertise in SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) systems, particularly General Electric's e-terra platform.
Project details:
- Location: Rotterdam
- Project length: 12 months, option to extend.
- Start date: ASAP.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the configuration, deployment, and maintenance of SCADA systems, preferbably General Electric's e-terra platform.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate SCADA systems.
- Design, develop, and implement station automation solutions to enhance the efficiency and reliability of power station operations.
- Diagnose and resolve SCADA system issues, troubleshoot automation malfunctions, and implement corrective actions promptly.
- Implement and adhere to cybersecurity best practices to safeguard SCADA systems and station automation solutions against potential threats.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience working with SCADA systems, particularly General Electric's e-terra platform.
- Strong background in station automation, including PLC programming, HMI development, and control system design.
- Proficiency in programming languages commonly used in SCADA systems, such as ladder logic, Python, or other Scripting languages.
- Familiarity with cybersecurity practices and protocols for protecting SCADA systems from potential threats.
