As an Infrastructure Security Architect, you will use your subject matter expertise to support the organization develop its security infrastructure architecture based on the identified security control objectives. The Infrastructure Security Architect will have deep technical knowledge in both cloud and on-prem infrastructure security solutions for networking, perimeter controls, endpoint controls, zero trust concepts and methods, identity and access management, and data loss prevention. The Architect will have the ability to gather requirements, develop and present solutions to a broad range of technical and management audiences.
You will advise and design a range of solutions, to support the organization's cybersecurity vision and roadmap. You are a technology leader, fast learner with excellent verbal, and written communication skills.

In this role, responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Gather and rationalize security requirements and translate them into security roadmap, desired capabilities and technology building blocks, initiatives, budget plans and business cases
- Design security architecture that aligns with industry best practices and organizational requirements and risk appetite. This includes networks, servers, cloud environment, in particular in the areas of zero trust network architecture (ZTNA), extended detection and response (XDR), identity and access management (IAM/PAM), and data loss prevention (DLP), perimeter security and other
- Act as the technical lead to provide guidance and develop approaches and project plans for the implementation of security roadmap
- Identify and manage vendors, and perform POCs to validate the suitability of their solutions
- Document and maintain the security roadmap and architecture
- Develop and maintain the Information Security Policy and security standards
- Provide security advisory services to a range of technology and business stakeholders across the organization to embed cybersecurity early in new products and technology initiatives
- Perform threat risk assessments and M&A due diligence to measure cybersecurity maturity and identify risks that exceed organization’s risk appetite
- Participate in IT change management processes to assess change-driven infrastructure cybersecurity risks that are out of compliance with Information Security Policy, cybersecurity standards or best practices and provide mitigation guidance
- 7+ years of solid infrastructure cybersecurity experience
- Extensive knowledge of cybersecurity, networks, operating systems and applications in hybrid environments
- Ability to create technical architecture documentations
- Ability to create Powerpoint presentation for management (e.g. roadmaps) and non-technical audiences
- Proficiency in cloud security concepts and technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Specific knowledge of Google Suite, GCP, Microsoft security E5, zScalar and similar technologies is a plus
- Vast experience with technologies such as IAM, DLP, ZTNA, EDR, XDR, Cloud Security, WAF, Next Generation firewalls, CASB, SASE, etc.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity risk frameworks such as NIST CSF, and NIST 800-30, 800-53 publications is a plus
- Relevant cybersecurity certifications such as CRISC, CCSP, CISSP, OSCP, CEH, GCIH, GPEN, CISA and CISM
- Vendor certifications / and or knowledge of technologies such as Cisco, Palo Alto, VMware, F5, GCP, AWS, and Azureis a plus
- University/Community College Business Administration, Information Technology or Engineering degree/diploma (or equivalent) or equivalent work experience
- Strong communication skills (written and oral)
- Project management and coordination skills
- Prior consulting experience is an advantage
