Job Summary
We are looking for a Financial Analyst, this person will be responsible to collect, compile, verify financial information and provide on-time and high-quality analytical reports.
The position is based in Bogota, Colombia reporting to MO Business Controller.
Tetra Pak is not sponsoring work visas or relocation for this position.
What you will do
As a Financial Analyst you will:
- On a regular basis perform basic variance analysis (e.g. SGA, costs, balance sheet accounts), identify route causes for deviation, be able to explain trends and make conclusions
- Collect, compile, verify financial information and provide on-time and high-quality analytical reports.
- Control accuracy of financial data using analytical tools, address mistakes and follow up corrections.
- Ensure SAP settings for expense assessment, re-billing, reallocation of expenses.
- Support preparation of monthly/quarterly closings, input to the planning process
- Support business controllers, and Finance director with financial analysis, transactional and ad-hoc activities, related to FSB (Finance, Supplier management, Business transformation) organization responsibilities.
- Follow up and control finance master data, ensure regular updates.
- Ensure Finance policies and guidelines related to own scope are followed and report noncompliant issues to senior Business Control Experts
- Identify areas for improvement, simplify way we work, seek for productivity.
We believe you have
- University degree in Finance or Economics or industrial engineering
- At least 1 year of experience in finance analyst or similar positions
- Analytical skills in Excel.
- Preferable knowledge in SAP and Business Objects.
- Strong analytical experience focusing on finance
- Spanish speaker, fluent in English spoken and written,
- Good collaboration and problem-solving skills
