You will be working as HSE Specialist and will be the part of Electrification business area for Smart Power division based in Cairo, Egypt. In this role you will be reporting to HSE Manager and will be responsible to contribute to improving Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) performance and corporate responsibility in assigned geography, support the business by applying in-depth knowledge to offer solutions and advice through delivery of group-wide performance improvement programs and/or group audit program
Your responsibilities

Delivering and deploying HSE training, audit and group-wide performance improvement programs to the divisions and local business units, providing analysis of HSE data within area of responsibility, reporting on progress on implementation of sustainability objectives and key performance indicators (KPI) as required- Contributing to assessing emerging trends and legislation in HSE and communicating relevant information on legal requirements within area of expertise and geography, supporting constituent countries to operate in compliance with standards and respective legal obligations
- Delivering audit (as per Group Audit Program) and supporting follow up of improvement actions in the local business units
- Cooperating across functions and with business partners for raising awareness and driving performance, engagings with internal and external stakeholders to build commitment and credibility for the CoE
- Contributing to driving behavioral change and continuous improvement though delivery of training and competence initiatives and expert support to the local business units in line with yearly HSE plan agreed with the business units
- Supporting the sharing of best practice, coordinating reporting on HSE performance and supporting delivery of group audit program
- Contributing to and/or plans and executing health, safety and environment performance and corporate responsibility related projects, developing and reporting on project objectives, managing project resources such as manpower, financials and other relevant factors
Your background
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical engineering / mechanical & mechatronics
- Minimum 3-5 years in HSE role
- Excellent knowledge about computer applications, MS (word, excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Very good level of conflict and change management, functional or technical leadership skills
- Fluency in English and Arabic language is mandatory
