What is the opportunity?
The primary responsibility of the role is to determine the overall vision of products, managing various backlog items and deciding which features each product will have according to clients and internal stakeholder known or anticipated needs. This exciting opportunity will see the Product Owner take control of the roadmaps for our digital platforms and bring Product Management capability and frameworks to the team.
In this role, you will:
- Collaborate with prospective users to translate needs into product requirements
- Define the vision for the team's product
- Creating a product road map based on this vision and overseeing all stages of product creation from inception to anchoring change
- Managing the product backlog and prioritizing based on changing requirements
- Developing user stories and agreeing acceptance criteria
What will make you stand out?
We are looking for a candidate with 3-5 Years demonstrable experience as Product Owner on digital customer facing platforms. Our ideal candidate will have an in-depth knowledge of Scrum and Agile Software Development Methodology, working knowledge of product development architecture and will be proficient in the use of analytic tools. You will need to have the ability to prioritize effectively, excellent knowledge of user-centred design principles and excellent oral and written communication.
Qualifications in any of the following will help you to stand out but is not necessary in order to apply for this role;
- BSc in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or other related fields.
- SAFe Certification
- Exposure to behavioural economics, hueristics and Fintechs a huge plus

More about the team
The position is part of the I.T group within the Wealth and Insurance business unit. The team comprises a dynamic and dedicated mix of I.T professionals across the entire Software Delivery Lifecycle. The role will have a significant impact in managing our product vision, roadmap and backlogs across our primary customer facing digital applications.
This is a hybrid role and can be done anywhere in the Republic of Ireland with the primary office location as Dublin. Travel will be required for in-person collaboration -exact frequency to be agreed with manager. #LI-HYBRID #IJ-HYBRID
