We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Portfolio Governance Manager to join our team in the Fiserv Dublin office. The Portfolio Governance Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing the company's portfolio of projects to ensure they align with our strategic objectives and goals. This role will require working closely with project teams, product managers, technology leadership business leaders, and stakeholders to ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
Responsibilities:
Establish and maintain a portfolio management governance framework that is aligned with the company's strategic objectives and goals.
Develop and manage portfolio management policies and procedures.
Define portfolio management metrics, KPIs, and reporting to track portfolio performance.
Manage portfolio resource allocation to ensure optimal use of resources across projects.
Ensure project prioritization and selection aligns with the company's strategic goals and objectives.
Monitor project budgets and timelines to ensure adherence to financial and timeline requirements.
Evaluate project performance against established metrics and report on progress to stakeholders.
Provide recommendations to senior leadership on portfolio management strategies and best practices.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with project teams, business leaders, and stakeholders.
Ensure compliance with project management methodologies and standards.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or related field required; Master's degree preferred.
Experience with portfolio management governance, policies, and procedures.
Experience with project management methodologies such as Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage cross-functional teams.
Ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders to build consensus and drive decision-making.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify trends and insights.
Knowledge of project and portfolio management tools such as Microsoft Project, JIRA, and Smartsheet.
