Job Description

Job Objectives

TEP Centre is a pioneer in the emerging field of Education Partnership, specialising in research, design, implementation, support and evaluation of education programmes, projects and initiatives across the public, private and non-profit sectors. We seek to fill the role of a Senior

Programme Assistant who will work on a part-time six(6) months employment

The ideal candidate will have strong analytical, critical thinking, problem solving skills and a demonstrable ability to plan and support project management processes. The successful candidate will support and coordinate the core implementation teams responsible for the seamless delivery of all the organisation’s projects.

Key Roles and Responsibilities
● Supporting programmes across all the units in the organisation,

● Organising, curating and hosting Podcast series on specified projects.

● Managing engagement through social media platforms.

● Developing and publishing newsletters

● Researching, planning and organising the annual Education Innovation Summit (NEDIS)

● Supporting sponsorships and partnerships, logistics and speaker management.

● Ensure the project is delivered on time in accordance with the work plan and within the budget

● Provide programme and administrative support to the programme team in the preparation of various programme documents, such as work plans, budgets, reports and proposals on programme implementation arrangements

● Under the guidance of the Programme manager, assemble briefing materials and prepare power-point and other presentations for the programme unit.

● Identify sources, and gather and compile data and information for the preparation of documents, guidelines, and other material as required.

● Assist the team in following project implementation processes, tracking tasks and milestones in correspondence with the allotted timeline for the projects

● Coordinate with implementing partners and monitor closely their implementation, and ensure the timely delivery of the activities;

● Monitor the progress of the different project activities and submit on a regular basis reports on progress, accomplishments and lessons learnt.

Technical and Behavioural Competencies

Organised and able to participate in and lead physical and virtual teams

● Proven ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team with respect for diversity

● Team player with interpersonal and communication skills

● Excellent analytical skills with advanced proficiency in written and spoken English

● Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

● Support in planning, monitoring and controlling programmes

● Excellent in creating project implementation processes.

● Good knowledge of budgeting and resource allocation procedures

● The ability to find ways of solving or pre-empting problems.
