- Set up jobs for themselves or others to assemble.
- Develop and document procedures/processes for new jobs.
- Positions/assembles parts according blueprints and customer specifications by the following processes:
- Fastens parts together with bolts, screws, speed clips, rivets, glue or other fasteners, according blueprints and customer specifications.
- Operates hand drills, drill presses, rotary air grinders, punch presses, staplers or riveting machines to assist in assembly operation.
- Test or assist in testing operation of complete product.
- As required, provides 1st pcs and final approval inspection for other assemblers by assuring that assemblies comply with drawing specifications.
- Trouble shoots /repairs products by dismantling and reassembling assemblies.
- Other duties may be assigned as required.
- Quality - Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness; looks for ways to improve and promote quality; applies feedback to improve performance; monitors own work to ensure quality.
- Quantity - Meets productivity standards; completes work in timely manner; strives to increase productivity; works quickly.
- Safety and Security - Observes safety and security procedures; determines appropriate action beyond guidelines; reports potentially unsafe conditions; uses equipment and materials properly.
